Mobile Solar-Powered Off-Grid Cold Storage Technology - SOLTECH

At Netune Atlantic Ltd, we specialize in sourcing agricultural products from local farmers while focusing on sustainable practices that ensure food security. A core part of our mission involves innovating agricultural solutions that help preserve produce and reduce food waste. One of our flagship technologies is the Mobile Solar-Powered Cold Storage System, known as SOLTECH. This system is designed to help smallholder farmers in Nigeria store their fresh fruits and vegetables (FFVs), extending shelf life and enhancing marketability.

With SOLTECH in place, over 175 market women and FFV traders in rural Nigerian communities are now able to store their produce safely, trade more effectively, and reduce post-harvest losses, which has led to increased profitability for local farmers and suppliers.

Our Cold Chain Solar Facility has revolutionized food storage by ensuring that fresh produce, like fruits and vegetables, can be preserved and safely transported to markets, reducing spoilage and maintaining freshness across the supply chain.

The scalability of this technology promises to address food insecurity, reduce food wastage, and improve agricultural outputs, which benefits smallholder farmers and local communities by enhancing their socio-economic development.

As we work to expand the reach of our solar-powered cold storage systems, we aim to provide better solutions for the first-mile and last-mile delivery of fresh food to remote markets, empowering women, fostering social inclusion, and promoting sustainable practices throughout Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
